Are you pet friendly?
As Painters Island Holiday Park is located on crown land unfortunately we can not accept bookings with Pets in either our cabins or on our sites.
Noise
Please consider other guests by restricting noise betwee the hours of 9.30pm to 8am.
Swimming Pool
Pool hours are 9am to 5pm daily.
Children (Under 18 years) MUST be supervised at all times by an Adult.
CCTV / Security
Please be aware that surveillance cameras are used within our Park.
Please ensure you secure all possessions and lock vehicles, cabins when unattended.
Management takes no responsibiity for theft of any personal belongings.
Bunk Beds Safety
To ensure safety in compliance with Australian Standards AS/NZS 4220:2003, we prohibit children under the age of 9 from using the top bunk, and they must not play on the top bunk.
Additional People
All cabin and camp site nightly rates are based on two people, any additional adults are charged at $15 per night and $10 per child. Please note an infant is between 0 and 3 years of age.
The Park Management reserves the right to charge for additional people if not declared on your reservation.
Can I have a fire on my site?
Our park has two open fireplaces in our camp kitchen and a communal fire pit to which we provide the firewood. You are more than welcome to have a fire in either of these locations. However, fires on sites are prohibited.
Caravan and Car Placement on sites
Your caravan must be placed with the tow bar facing the road, not across your site, so in the event of an emergency we can evacuate the Park. Your car must fit on your site and not overhang the gutter or road.
If you park your car on another camp site you will incur an additional site fee.
Can I have guests come and visit me at the park?
Visitor parking is located next to reception and all visitors MUST sign in at reception on arrival. All visitors must vacate the park by 10 pm. Day fees may apply for visitors entering the park to use the facilities and/or swimming pool - $5pp or $20 per family.
Can I get TV reception in your park?
If Television reception is important during your stay with us, please be sure to let us know. TV reception at Painters Island can be a little unpredictable at times, so there are only certain sites we would recommend. Our newer powered site area (P2-P22 on our park map) has an external coax point in the powerhead to make the most of a boosted signal.
What is your cancellation policy?
The deposit (equivalent to the first night’s accommodation) paid will be forfeited if you cancel your reservation within 14 days of your arrival date. For all other cancellations, a fee of $25 applies. For all peak periods, bookings the holding deposit paid will be forfeited. We do not refund for shortened bookings.
