
Park Rules
Additional People
All cabin and camp site nightly rates are based on two people; any additional adults are charged at $15 per night and $10 per child. Please note an infant is between 0 and 3 years of age.
The Park Management reserves the right to charge for additional people if not declared on your reservation.
Bunk Beds Safety
To ensure safety in compliance with Australian Standards AS/NZS 4220:2003, we prohibit children under the age of 9 from using the top bunk, and they must not play on the top bunk.
Bikes / Scooters
Are allowed during daylight hours only. Guests should observe all road rules including wearing of helmets.
Bikes/ Scooters are not to be used near the boom gates or inside games room, camp kitchen, amenities, pool area or BBQ areas.
Camp Site rules
Your caravan must be placed with the tow bar facing the road, not across your site so in the event of an emergency we can evacuate the Park. Your car must fit on your site and not overhang the gutter or road.
If you park your car on another camp site you will incur an additional site fee.
Please do not use rubber mats on your site to ensure our grass continues to grow.
Cancellation policy
The deposit (equivalent to the first night’s accommodation) paid will be forfeited if you cancel your reservation within 14 days of your arrival date. For all other cancellations, a fee of $25 applies. For all peak periods bookings the holding deposit paid will be forfeited. We do not refund for shortened bookings.
Checkout
Check-out time for all cabins and sites is 10.00am. Late check-out (subject to availability) may be arranged the day prior to departure (Fees apply).
CCTV / Security
Please be aware that surveillance cameras are used within our park.
Please ensure you secure all possessions and lock vehicles, cabins when unattended.
Management takes no responsibility for theft of any personal belongings.
Fires
The park has two open fireplaces in our camp kitchen and a communal fire pit to which we provide the firewood. You are more than welcome to have a fire in either of these locations.
However, fires on camp sites are prohibited including using a rotisserie with heat beads or industrial gas heaters. (Due to noise created).
Noise
Please consider other guests by restricting noise between the hours of 9.30pm to 8am, for all noise complaints please call 0455 067 068.
Pets
As Painters Island Holiday Park is located on crown land unfortunately we cannot accept bookings with Pets in either our cabins or on our sites.
Playground
Children must be supervised while using the playground area. The playground is not to be used after dark.
Swimming Pool
Pool hours are 9am to 5pm daily or 9am to 8pm during peak periods.
Children (Under 18 years) MUST be supervised at all times by an Adult.
Smoking / Vaping
Smoking or Vaping is not permitted in any of the cabins, communal, amenity and under cover areas.
Please be respectful of guests on adjoining camp sites to ensure smoke does not affect their comfort.
TV reception on sites
If Television reception is important during your stay with us, please be sure to let us know. TV reception at Painters Island can be a little unpredictable at times, there are only certain sites we would recommend.
Powered sites P2 to P22 have a coax point in the powerhead to connect to our boosted TV signal.
Visitors
Visitor day parking is located next to reception and all visitors MUST sign in at reception on arrival.
All visitors must vacate the park by 10 pm. Day fees may apply for visitors entering the park to use the facilities
